www.zoo-de-mack.com - around 20 years ago, Greg and Doug Drawbaugh, myself and 3 other individuals got together to ride our mountain bikes from the Zoo Bar at Boyne Highlands 50 miles along the coast of Lake Michigan up to Mackinaw City.  We then went over to Mackinaw Island and partied our butts off.  Since then, the annual event has grown and now every spring over 2,000 mostly Detroiters kick off their summer with this great adventure.  The bike ride is gorgoeus but it's probable more about the party.  Link to this website to learn all about this trip as well as the other outings, like the Zoo to Big Sky, Montana Ski Trip including a snowmobile trip through Yellowstone (I have done this trip too and what a great time!!) as well as other outdoor co-ed group adventures.
