CLUB SOLEIL HISTORY

      In 1997, John and Julie Hodges, of Troy Michigan set out and opened the first Club Soleil Tanning Salon at 14 Mile & Woodward in Royal Oak.   In 2001, they open a second location Club Soleil Tanning at 14 Mile & Campbell in the Campbell Corners Plaza in Madison Heights. 

       As regular tanners themselves they endeavored to establish a chain of salons offering the best combination of equipment and lamps to provide the most tan in the fewest number of visits.  Everybody's busy lives do not allow for the time to go to substandard salons with inferior tanning beds and lamps, multiple times per week, just to acquire a smidgen of a tan.  Club Soleil always delivers more tan in fewer visits than any of our competitors.  However, because you receive more tan in fewer visits, Club Soleil must  continually obtain more convinced members to make a living.  Good thing over 40,000 Detroiters believe and have already patronized our salons.  What are you waiting for -- you should be next.  We look forward to meeting you.

     To deliver the optimum tanning results for our members, without overexposing them, in the cleanest, most well-kept equipment and upscale professional environment, which makes each member feel welcome, relaxed and appreciated.  More than just a customer/client, Members should come back time and time again to expect and receive superior service and results as well as an education on the relative risks and benefits of moderate ultraviolet light exposure from our fully trained and certified Tanning Associates.

CLUB SOLEIL TEAM:
